What do jazz singers Ella Fitzgerald, Sarah Vaughan and Mel Torme, progressive rock band FM, jazz musicians Oscar Peterson, Pat Metheny, Keith Jarrett and Jaco Pastorius, world music group Kaleefah, classical musicians Andrew Davis, Valerie Tryon, Julius Baker and Jeanne Baxtresser, R&B singer Roberta Flack and Shakespearian actor Walter Borden have in common?

They have all been produced by award winning producer and songwriter Keith (Keef) Whiting.

Keef is the founder of imaJJine, a contemporary crossover jazz group featuring 6 of the premier Canadian jazz musicians and 2 of the hottest young singers in the country.

imaJJine - Brittany MirandaimaJJine’s debut album, Lullabies and Love Songs, features 21 original songs, 20 musicians, 17 singers, a string section, and a gospel choir.

The songs, as the name suggests, are a collection of lullabies to calm your baby, and love songs to inspire romance. But these aren’t your standard lullabies and love songs. Written or co-written by Keef and a who’s who of leading jazz composers. The songs on this album are for lovers: young lovers, old lovers, former lovers, secret lovers, true lovers, new lovers, foolish lovers, tragic lovers, jazz lovers, but above all music lovers!

The album will be available on Spotify, Apple Music, iTunes, Google Play and all other streaming channels. Watch for the band at jazz festivals and concerts starting in spring 2019.
