Love Songs And Lullabies Coming spring 2019
A collection of 20 original songs written by Keith (Keef) Whiting and 15 top jazz musicians.
Celebrating more than 40 years performing and being involved in music, Keith (Keef) Whiting turns his creative talent to creating a new album “Love Songs And Lullabies”.
This collection of jazz lullabies and love songs will introduce jazz to a whole new audience while providing a new music repertoire for musicians, singers and jazz station playlists.
Collaborating with 15 of Canada’s top jazz musicians this unique collection of original songs will be loved by parents, babies and jazz lovers.
The idea for the album was simple; write 20 sets of lyrics, give them to 15 different musicians with the only parameter – write a great jazz song! Then with a rhythm section of Vito Rezza, Scott Alexander and Tom Szczesniak, each musician will play their composition, alongside a vocalist chosen by them.
Musicians on Love Songs And Lullabies include:
Russ Little, Guido Basso, Bruce Cassidy, Aaron Davis, Joe Sealy, Bill King, Tom Szczesniak, Scott Alexander, Kieran Overs, Vito Rezza, Kobenna Harrison, John Johnson, John Capek, Michael Stuart, John Roby, Donald Quan, Kevin Barrett, Darcy Hepner, and Lou Pomanti
Singers on Love Songs And Lullabies include:

“In my extensive experience in the music business and in running JAZZ.FM91, I have had the opportunity to see the best of what Keith has to offer. It is with this experience that I am able to make the judgment that Keith stands out as an outstanding producer, writer and musician, and I believe this new project “Love Songs & Lullabies” will be a significant contribution to Canadian jazz.”
